For me, it's about 3 miles off, but one of my friends is about 30 miles off. VirtualEarth also provides WiFi location which works a little better, but i haven't been able to get that to work on the desktop. VeMobile gets it to work by calling into an unknown dll.the 'search' results are returned in lat/lon, so i don't have to do any reprojection there. It should just line up. I'll have to test some more, but are you searching when the view is rotated or pointing straight down? Could be a problem with my sprite, which should be replaces with WorldWinds Icon class. I just tried it and I must say that it's a very good first-attempt.

There is a severe FPS hit, but I'm sure it'll get sorted out in good time. Landsat imagery (and more high-res imagery too). I'm just curious to the limitations of the use of this great stuff.Again, excellent work. Chris, regarding terms of use. I never received direct permission from MS to use VE tiles. Wrote them, but did not get a response. But i have seen an email that gave NASA permission to make such a plugin.
