Sucks to be talking about it now XD but the main and real important thing it did:Reduced or elminated the amount of fake steam accounts that could have been made for people who would probably put them to use for cheating. Because no-one would have known to prepare in advance for this outcome. This is why the devs kept it all on the low-down, and didn't reveal what was happening until it was done. They did well here, made the right choice, despite knowing it would infuriate some people who wouldn't see past the face of it all.so thankyou, syncerror and those that were involved.
